SAN PEDRO CITY – A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with the policemen in Baras town in Rizal province Saturday.
A report from the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (CALABARZON) police said the encounter took place a few minutes past midnight along Matignas road in Barangay (village) Rizal.
Baras police conducted a buy-bust operation but during the sale, the suspect identified only as “Darwin” engaged the officers in a gunfight.
The police said they recovered a .38 caliber gun and a sachet of suspected “shabu.” CDG
