Mother, 3 men named Mark nabbed in Cebu City drug busts

CEBU CITY — Edna Flores, her son Mark and two other men also named Mark, were arrested by police in three separate drug busts in Cebu City on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Flores and her son Mark were arrested in Barangay Pahina in San Nicolas, at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday. Police said another drug suspect, Mark Moralde, tipped off police that they were getting shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from Edna.

Moralde was arrested at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday at the Salinas Drive in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City. Police also arrested Mark Rustilo at Barangay Apas at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Recovered from their possession were several packs of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) each amounting to P18,000 per sachet, two mobile phones and the marked buy-bust money. The four suspected drug pushers are now detained at the Mabolo police precinct.  SFM
