CIDG nabs 4 in Olongapo for drug trafficking

OLONGAPO CITY, Philippines–Operatives of the Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Zambales arrested four drug suspects during a buy-bust operation here on Saturday (Sept. 24).

 
A CIDG undercover agent purchased shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from suspect Ernesto Castillano, 57, a resident of Barangay (village) West Bajac-Bajac, who was included in CIDG’s drug watch list, said Chief Inspector Antonio Ananayo Jr., head of CIDG-Zambales.

 
Authorities also arrested Castillano’s three companions, Mike Castillano, Michael Guerrero, and Evelyn Arcenas, who were caught sniffing shabu inside his house at 5 a.m.

Police seized from the suspects three plastic sachets containing alleged shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
