BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—School officials on Friday (Sept. 16) suspended classes at the Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School (NVGCHS) here after the police received a bomb threat.
Chief Insp. Jenefer Flores, Bayombong police chief, said no explosive was discovered by a bomb-disposal unit that was sent to the school campus.
The threat was sent on Thursday night (Sept. 15) to the police hotline. The text message said: “Abangan ang pagsabog ng bomba bukas sa NVGCHS Hahaha (Watch out for a bomb explosion at the NVGCHS tomorrow Hahaha).”
Flores said the police suspect the message was sent by a student “who did not have anything better to do (walang magawa).”/rga
