Airport authorities reminded the public to mind their things at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) after an arriving passenger from Hong Kong was victimized last Monday by members of the “Salisi gang.”

According to a report from the Aviation Security Unit-National Capital Region, a Filipino passenger from Hong Kong lost her shoulder bag to thieves at the Naia Terminal 3 arrival area.

Johaima Alug and her family were having lunch at past 2 p.m. when she noticed that her bag, which contained her passport, identification cards and other valuables, was missing just as they were leaving the fast food restaurant.

A closed-circuit TV footage showed how two women and three men apparently connived to take the victim’s shoulder bag and fled.
