San Beda College in Manila cleared of bomb threat
The San Beda College in Manila has been cleared of bomb threat after a supposed bomb scare in some schools near Malacañang on Monday morning.
“According to the Security Head, San Beda College has been cleared. Bomb squads and the PNP have been going around San Beda and Mendiola to verify information,” the San Beda College-Law Student Government posted in its official Twitter account.
Classes were also not suspended at San Beda.
The College of the Holy Spirit Manila (CHSM), Centro Escolar University (CEU), and San Beda received a bomb threat on Monday morning, radio reports said.
The CHSM suspended its classes from elementary to college levels.
The CEU received a Facebook message from a supposed member of the Abu Sayyaf past 4 a.m., saying that there were bombs in the campus that could go off at 8 a.m.
