Ex-Bohol town councilor, 4 others nabbed in buy-bust
TAGBILARAN City, Bohol—Five people were arrested including a former town councilor in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Tagbilaran City Police Station (TCPS) in this city on Friday morning.
Police Supt. Nicomedes Olaivar, chief of TCPS, said they were monitoring the illegal activities of Ritchie Jamilo Tutor, 33, a resident of Manigque Compound on J. Borja Street in this city.
“She (Tutor) is a known drug personality in the city and in fact she is included in our drug watch list,” said Olaivar.
Tutor was arrested after she sold a plastic sachet containing “shabu” to a policeman who acted as a poseur-buyer at 12:45 a.m. on Friday.
Seized from her were three sachets of suspected shabu and P500 marked money.
Also arrested in the house of Tutor were Celerino Tatad Jubac Jr., 37, a former municipal councilor of Cortes town and his friends Rod Karaan Capuno, 45, Emmanuel Roy Arado Esperanza, 40, and Asterio Beldad Baba Jr., 31, all residents of Tagbilaran City. They were caught in the act of using shabu. Seized from them were four small-sized sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
