Gov’t medics get higher hazard pay

Good news for public health workers: they will be getting additional hazard pay as well as the possibility of higher salaries under the Duterte administration.

Health Secretary Paulyn Ubial has signed a memorandum circular approving the increase in the hazard pay for public health workers.

In a speech before the Philippine Public Health Association’s annual convention, the health secretary said the pro-rated increase will depend on the salary grade of the employee concerned.
