A number of flights were canceled on Thursday as typhoon “Butchoy” (international name: “Nepartak”) continued to move toward Taiwan.

According to the 5 a.m. bulletin of Pagasa, Butchoy was last tracked 330 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes and was moving at 25 kilometers per hour (kph).

The typhoon clocked maximum sustained winds of 220 kph and gusts of up to 255 kph.
