The University of the Visayas (UV) leaned on the dominating performance of its powerhouse gymnasts who gracefully tumbled and twirled their way to 21 gold medals and snatched the temporary lead in both the elementary and secondary divisions after three days of the 21st Cebu City Olympics at the Cebu City Sports Center gymnasium.

The golds represented UV’s combined haul in rhythmic and artistic routines.

UV’s elementary gymnasts raked in 12 gold medals while its secondary team captured nine gilts.
