Man wounded on eve of Election Day in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY — A man was wounded in a Nueva Ecija town before midnight on Sunday, eve of Election Day.

Mauricio Garcia was wounded when the ambulance he was riding was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo town.

Garcia, a supporter of a mayoral candidate there, was along with a group of men who were responding to reports about a brief exchange of gunfire earlier in the day./rga
