TUBURAN, Cebu — A poll watcher of Tuburan Mayor Aljon Diamante accused mayoralty candidate Daphne Lagon’s camp of vote-buying.

Jebel Montebon reported the incident to the Tuburan police precinct at midnight.

The 33-year-old Montebon said he was called to Lagon’s campaign headquarters  in Barangay Poblacion 5 at 8 p.m. on Sunday and was supposedly confronted by former mayor Rose Suezo, who castigated him for volunteering as Diamante’s poll watcher when he is staying in a lot she owns.
