“Eat Bulaga” host Vic Sotto on Thursday accompanied his son Vico, who is running for councilor, to a “house-to-house” campaign in Pasig City.
The son of Sotto and actress Connie Reyes is eyeing a council seat as an independent candidate.

The father and son campaigned at Barangay Palatiw.
In a Facebook post, Vico kidded about his celebrity father “chaperoning” him on his campaign.
(The theme of “house to house” campaigning becomes different when I’m with Papa. The bench becomes a stage and the walk becomes a motorcade without cars.)
The candidate said their strategy of enticing voters was effective.
(House to house [campaigning] is the best way of campaigning during local elections. Aside from wooing the voters, candidates closely meet their constituents and know their conditions and needs.)
In an Instagram post, the 26-year-old candidate thanked his father and his supporters for a “job well done.” Apart from his father, Vico was with other council hopefuls. Gianna Francesca Catolico, INQUIRER.net
