Aquino suffers lowest satisfaction rating since Q1 of 2015
President Benigno Aquino III posted his lowest net satisfaction rating since the “moderate” +11 he got during the March 2015 survey, according to the latest poll conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS).

In the survey conducted from March 30 to April 2, Aquino got a net satisfaction rating, which is the difference between satisfied and unsatisfied respondents, of “moderate” +27 during the first quarter of 2016.
The results of the poll were published by BusinessWorld on its website late Sunday evening.
His net satisfaction rating during the March 2016 poll is five points below from the “good” +32 he got last December 2015.
Article continues after this advertisementThe SWS said that the five-point dip in his rating was due to “declines of 23 points in Metro Manila, eight points in the Visayas, and one point in Mindanao, combined with a steady score in Balance Luzon.”
Article continues after this advertisementIn terms of geographic areas, Aquino suffered a 23-point decline in Metro Manila to a “neutral” +0. He recorded a “very good” +50 net satisfaction rating in Visayas, “good” +30 in Mindanao and “moderate” +23 in Balance Luzon.
Meanwhile, in terms of socioeconomic classes, the president got a “moderate” +17 net satisfaction rating among respondents from classes ABC, “moderate” +25 among class D respondents and a “good” +36 among class E respondents.
The said survey had 1,500 respondents with sampling error margins of ±3 points for nationwide percentages and ±6 points each for Metro Manila, Luzon areas outside the National Capital Region (NCR), the Visayas and Mindanao.
SWS classifies net satisfaction ratings of at least +70 as “excellent”; +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad” and -70 and below as “execrable.” RAM
