A fire broke out at a residential area in Muntinlupa City on Friday afternoon.

Fire Officer 2 Jomar Camacho of the Muntinlupa Bureau of Fire Protection told INQUIRER.net that the fire at Barangay (village) Cupang started at 12:30 p.m and was immediately raised to third alarm.

Camacho said the fire was raised to fifth alarm at 12:40 p.m. before being declared out at 1:55 p.m.

No other details were available as of posting time as police said the cause of the fire was still under investigation. IDL/RC
