IRIGA CITY, Camarines Sur — Three weeks ahead of the May 9 elections, presidential aspirant Senator Grace Poe finally brought her campaign in this province on Friday sans her running mate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

It was Poe’s first sortie in the province since the official campaign period kicked off last February 9.
The province is the known bailiwick of Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo, running mate of Poe’s rival, former Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II.

She was joined here this Friday by some of the senatorial bets of Partido Galing at Puso (PGP).
Poe’s team will start its campaign here in the morning with a courtesy call and meet and greet with local officials at Iriga City Hall, and another meeting with Rinconada leaders and supporters.
In the afternoon, Poe will meet with local leaders at Pili Convention Center before holding a motorcade.
The main event, which is the political rally, is slated at 7:00 p.m at the Capitol Complex in Naga City. CDG
