Poe meets up with ex-president Ramos
Less than a month before the May elections, presidential aspirant Grace Poe quietly met with former President Fidel Ramos on Wednesday.
But Poe, in a statement issued late Wednesday night, said the meeting had nothing to do with any endorsement.
“I sought time with President Ramos to seek his views and advice on various issues confronting our nation,” she said.
“It had nothing to do with any endorsement. The discussion went well and was very enriching,” Poe added.
The meeting was kept under wraps from the media, who have been covering her campaign.
