Duterte asks voters: Criminal killer or public funds thief?
SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan—A killer of criminals or a thief of public funds?
That was the question of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte following presidential rival Vice President Jejomar Binay’s statements urging Filipinos not to vote for him due to allegations of human rights violations and extrajudicial killings.
Duterte told reporters in a campaign rally here Wednesday.
In a radio interview, Binay said Filipinos had a “moral obligation” not to vote for Duterte.
Binay also issued similar remarks in a video posted on his official Facebook page where he convinced voters not to elect Duterte into the highest post in the country.
Duterte hit back at Binay over his alleged record on massive corruption.
RC
