Poe, campaign team to work ‘double time’ as polls draw near

ANGELES, Pampanga – Presidential aspirant Grace Poe said she and her team will work double time to cover as many places as possible in the remaining weeks of the campaign before the May elections.

“Basta double time lang naman at saka sa ating mga kababayan marami rin naman tayong napupuntahan na, hindi lang naman itong kampanya na ito,” Poe said in an interview here on Thursday.

“Kaya hindi ako nababahala sapagkat kahit na marami na silang napuntahan kami naman ay patuloy pa ring nagsisipag na nag iikot,” she said.

Besides, Poe said, they already visited some parts of the country even before the campaign. But she promised to visit these places again soon.

Poe campaigned in this province, the bailiwick of former President and now detained Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, with senatorial bets Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Edu Manzano.

This was her third provincial sortie this week since the Lenten break after Batangas and Pangasinan last Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Poe is also set to campaign in the provinces of Laguna on Friday and in Rizal on Saturday. CDG
