Three killed in Cebu motorcycle mishap

CEBU CITY — Two young men and a woman were killed on Friday dawn after the motorcycle which they were riding crashed into the center island of Maximo Patalinghug Avenue in Barangay Basak in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Jake Igot, 20; Henry Caballes, 18; and a still unidentified female companion died of head injuries, said police.

PO1 Jennifer Dicatoria of the Lapu-Lapu City Traffic Division said Igot was driving the motorcycle with Caballes and the woman as passengers.

They were heading to Barangay Pajo in Lapu-Lapu when the motorcycle crashed into the center island after passing by a dimly lit blind curve along Maximo Patalinghug Avenue about 1:30 a.m. CDG
