ZAMBOANGA CITY – Senator Grace Poe said the survey results, which placed her tied with Vice President Jejomar Binay on the lead, spoke strongly of how Filipinos love her despite the negative publicity and the disqualification cases hurled against her.

She said it reflected the growing belief of the people in her leadership.

“I am grateful to our people because despite the doubts brought about by the disqualification (efforts), they still believe in our platform and continue to support us. The survey results will guide us but I admit that I am surprised because we are still on the top amid the efforts of our rivals,” Poe said during a visit here Friday.

Poe said the survey results also indicated that they have to double time their efforts in Mindanao, where she got low percentage.

“That’s why we’re here in Mindanao. If you look at our sortie schedules, we haven’t visited Mindanao a lot and even in the Visayas, we still have to visit a lot of places. We haven’t gone to Negros, to Bacolod but we will go there in the coming days. We still have 66 days to go around the country,” she said. CDG
