BAGUIO CITY — Presidential aspirant and Senator Grace Poe on Tuesday shot back at her critics who continue to hold government posts while actively showing their biases towards certain candidates.

Poe said in an interview with reporters here.

Poe did not name names but she made the remark when asked about Presidential Communications and Strategic Development Office (PCDSPO) Undersecretary Manuel L. Quezon III’s reported statement that she allegedly channeled her “inner Escudero” during the first presidential debate held in Cagayan de Oro last Sunday.

“I believe many people were impressed in the ability of Senator Poe to channel her inner Escudero to answer the questions,” Quezon was quoted as saying, referring to Poe’s running mate, Senator Francis Escudero.

Poe noted that among the five presidential candidates who attended the debate, only she and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago did not bring their respective vice presidential bets. Santiago’s running mate is Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos.

Pareho kaming nagmamahal sa wika natin…” she said. FPJ is her adoptive parent, Fernando Poe Jr.
