University in CDO to hold mock polls ahead of presidential debates
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, a Jesuit-run school, will conduct a mock election ahead of the Feb. 21 presidential debate to be held here.
The simulated poll will be held on Friday and Saturday at two locations inside the campus and it will be open to all students, faculty and staff of the university.

The activity was initiated by the school’s Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana-Social Involvement Office (KKP-SIO).
“It is hoped that through this mock election, we may be able to foster that desire for active participation and open and critical pursuit of the truth as well as build the political maturity of our electorate in XU,” KKP-SIO said in a statement. CDG
