Binay woos vote-rich Laguna
LAGUNA – Vice President Jejomar Binay on Wednesday went around the indigent barangays in Laguna, the fourth most vote-rich province in the country.
Binay first went to Barangay Landayan in San Pedro Laguna for a short program after a motorcade. He was accompanied by his ally ER Ejercito–who was dismissed by the Commission on Elections in 2013 for overspending in his campaign expenditures–and his vice presidential running mate Gringo Honasan.
At the covered court in Barangay Landayan, Binay introduced his senatorial slate. A performer wearing an ER Ejercito mask gyrated before the cheering crowd.

Binay then continued in his motorcade to Barangay Malaban, Biñan, where he held a short program at noon.
He threw shirts and candies to the supporters, who crowded around their makeshift motorcade truck asking for election souvenirs.

Binay said in the programs that he would continue and improve the conditional cash transfer (CCT) program of the current administration.

He told the crowd not to believe in the black propaganda that he would scrap the CCT if he wins president.
Meanwhile, Honasan, a former soldier and rebel, vowed to stamp out criminality and ensure security for the public.
Honasan said.
Laguna is the fourth most vote-rich province with 1.675 million registered voters.
Cebu has the most number of registered voters at 2.722 million voters, followed by Cavite with 1.843 million, Pangasinan with 1.705 million, Laguna with 1.675 million, and Negros Occidental with 1.663 million.
