3-yr-old boy kidnapped in Zamboanga del Sur found in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines–A three-year old boy who was kidnapped in Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur last year, was found in Indanan, Sulu on Sunday.

Major Filemon Tan, spokesperson of the Western Mindanao Command, said the boy, Ace Jay Garban, was “recovered” by a resident of Buanza village in Indanan town.

“He was spotted walking without companion. Immediately, the person approached the child and brought him to a nearby post at the Jolo Internal Defense Force (in Jolo town),” Tan said.

Garban, his two-year old sister Zynielle Jay and neighbor, 17-year old bakery cashier Ledegie Tomarong, were abducted in Pitogo in March last year.

Zynielle’s body was found floating in a fish port in Pitogo weeks later.

Tomarong escaped from her captors in Sulu in July last year. TVJ
