DINALUPIHAN, Bataan—A fuel pipeline used by the Subic Freeport and the Clark Freeport has been shut down due to a reported leak which residents here detected last Wednesday due to a strong, noxious odor seeping out of the town drains.
Since Thursday, work crews from the Department of Public Works and Highways had been digging the perimeter of the pipeline which the American military built beneath the town culverts to send gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to and from the former baselands in Subic and Clark.
As of Friday, the agency has yet to discover signs of a leak. RAM
