OLONGAPO CITY—A man was shot dead inside his house by an alleged drug trader in Barangay (village) New Cabalan here at 2 p.m. last Thursday, police said.

The suspected gunman, Bobby Cuajao, shot 44-year-old Redentor Rumualdo with an improvised shotgun when the fatality opened the door. Cuajao then fled and is currently at large.

Both Rumualdo and Cuajao are persons of interest in a drug investigation, said Insp. Vivianne Reyes, deputy station commander of police station 6 here.

Police said a money dispute could be a motive for the murder. A witness said he overheard Cuajao demanding money from Rumualdo before the shooting incident. RAM
