Accidental firing, not stray bullet killed girl in Bulacan

Accidental firing, not stray bullet caused the death of a nine-year-old girl in Norzagaray, Bulacan last Christmas.

Based on the investigation conducted by the Norzagaray Police, the victim, Lorena Cruz was hit by a .22 caliber gun owned by her 26-year-old brother Joel.

Police said the gun went off when it fell after Joel hung the gun on the wall.

However, the police said Joel threw the gun into the river saying it only reminded him of his dead sister.
