Messenger yields 10 kilos of marijuana
A messenger listed as Quezon City’s most wanted drug peddler was arrested Monday night in a buy-bust operation that yielded 10 kilos of marijuana worth around P50,000.
Police seized three bricks of dried marijuana fruiting tops from Ferdinand Aljecera, 29, who was entrapped at his own home on Lantana Street, Immaculate Concepcion, said Chief Insp. Enrico Figueroa, chief of the Quezon City Police District’s task group on illegal drugs.
The QCPD got leads on Aljecera following a recent operation where 100 kilos of marijuana were seized from Moises Nardo Simsim, 40, of Benguet province.
