Poe thankful for topping SWS poll
Senator Grace Poe said she accepts with “gratitude and humility” the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, which showed her and rival, Vice President Jejomar Binay, as the voters’ top choice for president in 2016.
Poe and Binay both received 26 percent of voters’ preference for president based on the SWS survey conducted among 1, 200 respondents nationwide.

Former Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II received 22 percent, followed by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte with 20 percent, and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago with 4 percent.
“I accept with gratitude and humility the latest SWS survey results,” Poe said, reacting to the survey.
“I will continue to make the rounds all over the country, reach out to the people on the ground, and make known how the leadership we are offering would make the government genuinely work for them. Walang maiiwan sa gobyernong may puso (No one will be left behind in governance with a heart),” she said.
