On Sept. 1, paramilitary men arrived in Sitio Han-ayan in the village of Diatagon in Lianga, Surigao del Sur. The armed men, known as members of the Magahat-Bagani, killed a lumad school executive and two tribal leaders. Through the children’s drawings, this was how the killings happened.
