Senators Grace Poe and Francis Escudero, who are running for president and vice president, respectively, and five of their senatorial bets wooed residents of Calamba, Laguna on Tuesday.

Poe’s first stop was at the Calamba public market where she held consultation with residents and various sectors there. She was joined by Calamba Mayor Timmy Chipeco.

It was during that consultation where Poe became emotional when she talked about the disqualification case that the Senate Electoral Tribunal is set to decide on Tuesday afternoon.

After the consultation, Poe and Escudero held a press conference at a nearby restaurant in the province where they were joined by five senatorial candidates—Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, lawyer Lorna Kapunan, Congressmen Samuel Pagdilao, Roman Romulo, and Sherwin Gatchalian.

After the presscon, all the seven candidates proceeded to STI College Calamba for another consultation meeting.

From STI, their next stop would be at the Perpetual Help University in Biñan, Laguna for a dialogue with students there. RAM
