Senator Grace Poe said she was “humbled” by the latest Social Weather Station (SWS) survey, which showed her still the voters’ top choice for president in 2016.
From 42 percent in June this year, Poe’s rating increased to 47 percent based on the SWS survey conducted from September 2 to 5 this year.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank the Filipino people for their support and trust. I am again humbled that our kababayans continue to appreciate our hard work and the brand of governance that we are upholding and pushing,” Poe said in a statement on Monday.
“Our growing support from the people, as reflected in this survey, is an affirmation that what we have started is on the right track. It’s a validation that our agenda for transparency, efficiency and honesty resonate well with our people,” she added.
“As a public servant, I will continue to carry out our mandate and serve the people. Our people’s unwavering support remains an inspiration,” Poe said.
The survey was released Sunday night, barely a week after Poe formally declared her presidential bid.
Roxas came in second with 39 percent from only 21 percent in June, dislodging Vice President Jejomar Binay, who only came in third with 35 percent.
