Movies of the late actor Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ) were shown in two big screens on a stage set at the Bahay ng Alumni in the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City to entertain supporters of Senator Grace Poe while they await her announcement regarding her plans in 2016.

It was FPJ’s widow, veteran actress Susan Roces, who appeared first on the big screens to introduce the movies of her late husband.
Many of the people who were present at the University of the Philippines Bahay ng Alumni are members of the Filipinos for Peace, Justice and Progress Movement or FPJPM, who were fans of FPJ.

The group campaigned for FPJ when he ran and lost in the 2004 presidential race, and when Senator Poe ran and topped the 2013 senatorial race.
This time, FPJPM leaders again promised to campaign for Senator Poe, who is expected to announce her presidential bid at 6pm this Wednesday.
Other groups supporting the senator’s presidential bid were also present in the event.
