Binay camp: Name names

The camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay challenged journalist Marites Dañguilan Vitug to name the former government official who allegedly asked her to spin stories in favor of the Vice President.

“She should name the said former government official. A blind item isn’t enough. This is too show biz,” Joey Salgado, spokesperson for Binay, said in a text message when sought for his reaction to the story.

Salgado likewise dismissed Vitug’s claims, saying the journalist “has never been fair and objective when it comes to the Vice President.”
