Class suspensions for August 22, 2015
Local government units have suspended classes on Saturday (August 22, 2015) due to the effects of typhoon “Ineng” (international name Goni), which has been battering northern Luzon.
Below is the list of class suspensions issued in Metro Manila and nearby provinces for Saturday:
Caloocan City — classes at all levels
Las Piñas City — classes at all levels
Makati City — classes at all levels
Marikina City — classes at all levels
Muntinlupa City — classes at all levels
Parañaque City — classes at all levels
Pasay City — classes at all levels
San Juan City — classes at all levels
Pasay City — classes at all levels
Quezon City — classes at all levels
Cavite — classes at all levels
The following schools have also suspended classes:
Polytechnic University of the Philippines – NCR branches — classes at all levels
City of Malabon University — classes at all levels
City of Malabon Polytechnic Institute — classes at all levels
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila — classes at all levels
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela — classes at all levels
Valenzuela City Polytechnic College — classes at all levels
University of Baguio — classes at all levels
Bulacan State University – All campuses — classes at all levels
Adamson University — classes at all levels
MTAP (Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines) classes were also cancelled in the following areas:

According to the Department of Education, classes should be automatically suspended if a public storm warning is raised over a province:
Signal no. 1 – no classes in kindergarten
Signal no. 2 – no classes in kindergarten, elementary and high school
Signal no. 3 – No classes in kindergarten, elementary, high school and college (including graduate school)
