Pagasa issues orange rainfall warning for Metro Manila, 5 provinces

The state weather bureau issued an orange rainfall warning at 2 a.m. Friday over Metro Manila, Bataan Bulacan, Zambales, Cavite and Batangas and warned of threats of flooding.

It said intense rain was to be expected between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. over the affected areas. Under orange warning, 15 millimeters-30 mm of rainfall is expected.

Pagasa also hoisted yellow rainfall warning over Rizal, Laguna and Pampanga provinces, where heavy rainfall (between 7.5 mm and 15 mm) is to be expected.–Rick Alberto
