239 out of 405 pass 2015 chemical engineering board exam

A total of 239 out of 405 examinees passed the recent chemical engineering licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.

Data from the PRC showed that De La Salle University emerged as the lone top-performing school after recording an 84.85-percent passing rate, equivalent to 28 passers out of 33 takers.

The PRC requires 30 or more examinees and with at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

Remington Salaya of the Central Philippine University topped the exam with an 83.30-percent passing rate.
