Jolo Revilla condition improving—Asian Hospital

MANILA, Philippines— The condition of Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla has been improving after he “accidentally” shot himself Saturday, a physician at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center said Wednesday.

“There is no difficulty in breathing and the patient is able to ambulate, eat, has flatus and bowel movement this morning,” Joven Jeremius Tanchuco, chief medical officer of the Asian Hospital said in his medical report.

Tanchuco said “tests results have ruled out any urgent condition.”
After Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. had visited his son on Tuesday afternoon, he expressed his wish to visit his son again.

But Atty. Raymond Fortun, spokesman of the Revillas, said in a television interview that the younger Revilla’s condition was not urgent to require his father’s presence.

On February 28, Revilla was rushed to a hospital for a gunshot wound on his upper right chest after he ‘accidentally” pulled the trigger of his government-issued .40 Glock pistol.
