Expect rains on Friday in Aurora, Quezon, Samar provinces, Bicol region—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Bicol region and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon and Samar will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms on Friday due to a tail-end of a cold front.
A tail-end of a cold front, or a convergence of two air masses from different directions, is affecting the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon, the Philippine Atmopsheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The northeast monsoon continued to prevail in Northern Luzon and will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in Cordillera, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas.
