DepEd suspends classes due to bad weather
MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Education (DepEd) announced Monday morning the suspension of classes in several provinces in the Bicol Region, and Central and Southern Luzon.
The DepEd suspended classes due to a low pressure area (LPA)—the remant of tropical storm Amang—that is dumping light to moderate rain in the affected areas.
The LPA was last observed near Casiguran, Aurora, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
