Pope Francis breaks another protocol on way to MOA

/ 05:02 PM January 16, 2015

MANILA, Philippines—Thousands of Filipino families lined the streets of Taft Avenue Friday afternoon to cheer Pope Francis convoy that will take him to the Mall of Asia.

Live television coverage of the convoy showed people flashing the pontiff’s posters while the others just waved at the Pope and roared in delight.

Minutes later when his convoy  was circling  around the MOA compound, the Pope broke another protocol: His convoy stopped and from the jubilant crowd a baby was handed to him. He hugged and kissed the infant.
