Hunt on for 3 women in Greenhills mall theft

MANILA, Philippines—The San Juan City police are on the hunt for three women who allegedly stole cash and other valuables from a shop owner at the Greenhills Shopping Center Wednesday night.

Charito Alunan, 52, reported the loss of her bag containing jewelry, credit cards, bank and check books, and P80,000 in cash.


SPO1 Gener Adrian Antazo of the San Juan City police said a security camera video showed the three women entering Alunan’s dress shop at Shoppesville Arcade, with two of them discreetly taking the businesswoman’s bag, which was placed on a chair, while the third pretended to inquire about her merchandise.
