Pagasa: Rainy in parts of Mindanao, Visayas

MANILA, Philippines — The diffused tail-end of a cold front in Mindanao and the northeast monsoon in Luzon will bring rains in parts of the Philippines on Tuesday.

“Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Central Visayas and the Provinces of Leyte and Negros Occidental will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north making seas slight to moderate.
