MANILA, Philippines—Some sections of 21 national roads in the Visayas and Mindanao were closed to traffic due to landslides and flashfloods caused by Tropical Storm Seniang (international name: Jangmi), according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
In an advisory, the DPWH’s Public Information Division reported that nine of the roads were in Central Visayas, seven in Eastern Visayas, while five were in northeastern Mindanao.
“All other national roads in these regions remained open to traffic,” said the DPWH.
