DOJ completes probe of Enzo Pastor’s wife, businessman
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Justice (DOJ) has already concluded its investigation of Dalia Guerrero and Sandy De Guzman in connection with the death of champion car racer Enzo Pastor.
Guerrero, the wife of Pastor, is facing parricide complaint while De Guzman who was allegedly having an affair with Guerrero was slapped with a murder complaint.
Tomas Pastor, father of Enzo, in his reply affidavit, said the DOJ should file the case in court against Guerrero and De Guzman.
Pastor said even if Police Officer 2 Edgar Angel recanted his earlier statement identifying De Guzman as the mastermind for the car racer’s death, they were able to present other evidence to prove that the three have a hand in the death of his son.
“Among those pieces of evidence are the police reports attached to the case records; the evidence secured during the entrapment of respondent De Guzman where he was caught in the act of giving the ‘bonus’ to respondent Angel at the place, date and time specified by respondent Angel to the police; the affidavits of the arresting officers; the [sworn statements] of several witnesses (particularly Alvin Nidua and Chona Domen) and the phone calls between and among the respondents on the day my son was killed,” Pastor said.

Domen, on the other hand, was the Pastor’s nanny who testified that Guerrero and De Guzman are having an affair.
Only Angel and De Guzman submitted a counter-affidavit. Under the rules, the prosecutors have 60 days to come up with its findings.
