Magnitude 4.2 quake jolts Kidapawan
MANILA, Philippines—A magnitude 4.2 tectonic earthquake shook Kidapawan City Monday morning, the seismology and volcanology institute said.
In its bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake was at 35 kilometers southwest of Kidapawan City.
Intensity II was felt in Koronadal City while Intensity I was felt in Kidapawan City.

Phivolcs does not expect any damage or aftershocks from the earthquake which had a 19 km depth of focus.
