No Saturday classes in some Metro schools
MANILA, Philippines—Schools in Metro Manila have canceled its classes tomorrow, Saturday, due to Tropical Storm “Mario.”
The list will be updated as new information comes in.
According to the Department of Education, all class levels are canceled in the following areas:
• Marikina City
• Pasay City
• Parañaque City
The following universities and colleges also cancelled their Saturday classes, according to the schools’ and local government units’ official Twitter accounts:
• University of Santo Tomas
Classes and work will remain suspended in UST tomorrow, Saturday, 20 Sept 2014, to allow sufficient time for clean-up of the campus. – OSG
