Motorbanca with 40 passengers capsizes off Cordova, Cebu – report

MANILA, Philippines – A motorbanca carrying 40 passengers capsized in the waters off  Cordova town in Cebu, Cebu Daily News reported on Friday.boljoon cebu map

In its latest tweet, Cebu Daily News said the Philippine Coast Guard has identified the boat as MBanca Claren, which left Pasil, Cebu City for Jetafe, Bohol earlier Friday.

Radyo Inquirer reported the mishap but said it has yet to confirm if the accident was due to Tropical Storm “Mario.”
