MANILA, Philippines—Dalia Guerrero-Pastor denied having an illicit relationship with businessman Domingo “Sandy” De Guzman III, the alleged brains behind the killing of her husband, champion car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor.

In her sworn affidavit which was executed at the National Bureau of Investigation on July 2014 before a complaint for parricide was filed against her, Guerrero said De Guzman is a friend of both her and Pastor’s.

“I consider him to be both of our friend and numerous people have been making the same offer because of the industry that we are in,” she said adding “as I stated earlier, he is our friend,” when asked in the affidavit if she had a relationship with De Guzman.

She added that she could no longer remember the last time she saw De Guzman although she recalled that he attended her birthday celebration last 2012.

Guerrero and De Guzman allegedly conspired to kill Enzo.

On Wednesday, Pastor’s parents-Tomas and Remedios submitted to the Department of Justice the affidavit of the couple’s helper, Chona Domen where she confirmed that Guerrero and De Guzman have an extramarital affair.

She said every time that Pastor left the country to compete in car races abroad, De Guzman would immediately come to the couple’s residence in Galeria, Magallanes, Makati City.

In her affidavit, Guerrero also narrated that her husband always took the C-5 route “since he cannot travel at EDSA without a truck permit.

She said it was the second time her husband took a racecar from Batangas to Clark, Pampanga. Before that, he took “six or seven” racecars from Clark to Batangas.

Pastor uses a flatbed truck to carry the car he uses for his racing competition.

His assistant, Paolo Salazar, who was injured in the attack, told police that on the night when Pastor was killed, he found it unusual that Dalia repeatedly called her husband to inquire where they were and what route they were going to take to Pampanga from their residence in Makati.

“Nagtaka ako dahil hindi s’ya dating ganun at kabisado naman namin ni Sir Enzo ang daan papuntang Clark,” he added.

(I was puzzled because she was not like that before and she knew what road Sir Enzo and I would usually take going to Clark.)

The NBI was also able to obtain records of phone calls between Guerrero and Pastor, De Guzman and Guerrero and De Guzman and the hitman hours before Enzo was killed.
